The 24th Annual Mayday Party

This year, Sam graduates from High School and is on his way to Bowling Green State University.  Come help us congratulate him on this mometus occasion.

This year, three great bands...

Injun Parts - Garage blues/rock to close out the night - they ROCK!

Soul Satyr - Big Band sound complete with horns, keys, percussion, and Johnny Mac's Screaming Guitar

The Don Norman Band - Stripped down blues with special guest Dan Axt

This is a rain or shine event - come prepared to brave the elements no matter what they might be.  Favorite camp chair?  Bring it !

I think you all know the drill but if not, bring a dish to share, we provide the drinks, burgers, dogs, condiments, and dinnerware.  You are, of course, welcome to bring your own libations or some to share - don't be shy!

Come out for a few hours or stay all weekend - we love visitors!

We supply the following - you bring an entree, dessert, or side to share:

Hot Dogs   Hamburgers   Condiments   Water    Pop   Juice   Ice

Beer   Full Bar   Plates   Napkins   Plasticware   Souvenir Cups   Coolers

AND THREE GREAT BLUES BANDS (music from 5-11pm)

There is a big play area for the kids (see photo above), lots of cover in case of bad weather, and tons of food.  This is a rain or shine event so please make plans to come and dress for the weather. 

Party starts at 3pm - come hungry and stay late!

Mayday is a celebration of spring that also follows Charlie's growth.  The first Mayday (May 2, 1987) was his unintended birthdate - he showed up 3 months early at Riverside and although Charlie and Rena did not make that first party, they have been at every one since.  This year, Charlie will be 22 - so bring your daughters and please don't hold us responsible for his actions.  This is not really a birthday party - no gifts please.  Your presence is enough for Charlie!
